A picture to reassure Mom

During my second week of my last semester at Nazareth I received a text message - I looked down and saw it was from Eric's phone. It was 6:15 or so, class starts at 6 so a text or phone call means an emergency...When I opened the text message this picture was in the message and under it "We love you on your BlackBerry!" I had just purchased my BB so they wanted to send love to my new BB! When I saw it, I said out loud "AWWW". My Professor paused and asked if their was something I wanted to share with the class - so I said "YES" and handed my BB around for everyone to see...most of the people in class don't have kids yet so when they saw this picture, it shocked some people who didn't know what a family of 6 might look like!

Other than the face Bug is making - I love it!

Don't tell Eric I posted this :)

So, I found 8 Kodak picture CD's from 2000 / 2001. This is a GREAT example of what we're willing to do to create memories with our first born! Eric has no idea I found these pictures! Hillarious!

THERE'S A TREE ON MY CAMPER...

Just before the New Year, Eric was looking out the window sipping his coffee - contemplating his pole barn and I'm standing next to him looking out the SAME window and I say..."Honey, what's on the camper?" He looks at the camper and says "I think it's a tree..." We are still waiting to hear back from the adjuster - not sure what's going to happen :( Memorial Day isn't that far away... We'll keep you posted!

A new little kitty...

In December E and I decided it was time for a new kitty - our kitty, Kessy, is about 15 or so and she's getting older. We love her but also realize that she's a functional part of our family as a SUPERB MOUSER. We decided to get a new kitty and get her trained! We thought that Kessy might train her...NOT - Kessy is miserable, she HATES the new kitty - I'm trying to get a video of their fighting...YIKES - it's so loud!

So our new kitty is Zoe, we brought her home on New Year's Eve. She's absolutely adorable! She weighs just under 4 lbs, she's 1 year old and she loves to cuddle, play and sit by us. She loves R and he actually sits very still and quiet when he's holding her - BONUS!!! She also loves E - after all the kiddos are in bed she comes around and will walk along the top of the couch to his head, and very slowly walk down his shoulder, down his arm and lay down on him with her face about 1MM from his and rub her nose on his beard! He pets her on the top of the head with 1 finger and says "HI CAT". She loves him...

We had T and E over last Sunday for dinner and A and E, their kiddo's LOVED Zoe! They'll be over again this Sunday for the SUPERBOWL so I'll take some pictures of them playing with her.

H is growing up so fast...

H is growing up so fast and we're so proud of her! She's breezing through Senior year, she's applied to FLCC for a theraputic massage degree, she's looking for a job and she passed her driver's test with flying colors on the Dec 30th. So, Aunt T - now she can drive to your house to babysit and drive home the next day (she can't drive past 9 until she's 18).

She's driving herself everywhere and although it's hard to let her go - we do so because it's what we HAVE TO DO - not what we want to do!!! :)

Love you Baby Girl...

Crazy Cousins...

Look at these CRAZY COUSINS! 11 in all...it was hard to keep them all posed for a pretty picture so someone yelled out "let's take a CRAZY picture" ! It turned out to be the best one I took. Bug and A in the back of the picture look confused and a little concerned that we were going to keep postponing the opening of presents! E and Z, the youngest of the crowd also look confused. It was a nice day and the kids were really great. Thanks to Opa and Oma for new jammers for all the kids, chuck full stockings for all of us, strip steaks for a year and another great Prime Rib dinner.

Christmas 2009, a success

The Walters had a very nice Christmas indeed. Pictured to the left are E, Bug in the middle and R in their new Oma jammers and their new Nintendo DS consoles! Santa was good to us this year, just like he is every year. Santa brought Ethan his DS last Christmas so he had to come up with something different...a Daisy Red Rider BeeBee gun with all the bells and whistles - including a saftey DVD and safety glass and saftey instructions. He also got a target and shatter whatnots that leave quite a mess when they, well, shatter. Thank you Santa :)

Thank you to Aunt L and Uncle P...One of the boys favorite gifts this year was an electronic, 2 person basketball game that was assembled and will stay in the garage! It's HUGE...we're enjoying it and it's keeping the boys active when it's too cold to play outside. Eventually, I'd like it to be in the pole barn :)
Bug was hounding me to come out and play him. He had a little smirk on his face and said "I'm gonna beat you so bad Mom!!!" Well, that's all I needed to hear - we played 1 on 1 and what do you know, I beat him like 50 to 15 (or something like that...) Daddy said that Bug thought I would loose becasue I'm a girl...NOT. I rock!!!
